LIMITED EDITION
DESCRIPTION
This bookplate will be engraved with your name and will be made in France to order. It is a creation limited to only 10 copies (no reprints possible). Numbered and signed by Morgane Rospars.
PERSONALIZATION
I would like this bookplate in gold:
1 / ORDER
After your purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email.
2/ VERIFY + APPROVE
We will get back to you via email within a few days. This message is intended to have you approve your personalized bookplate with the provided name before it is manufactured. This is also known as a "proof".
(Note: if the processing time seems unusually long, please check your spam folder).
3/ RECEIVE
Upon receipt of your approval, we will proceed with the production of your order; all you have to do is wait patiently for the postman.
Each ex-libris is made to order: please allow 10 to 15 days between the approval of the proof you will receive by email and the receipt of your package.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED
You will receive your personalized engraved stamp, along with an ink pad, so you can start stamping all your books without a second's delay.
QUALITY CHECKED
Before each shipment, the workshop verifies the quality of the engraving. The stamp is tested on a small card tucked into the box containing your ex-libris.
CAREFUL PACKAGING
The stamp engraving is hand-wrapped in a small piece of folded tissue paper to protect it during transit, then placed in a brown cardboard box that you can keep or give as a gift as is, without the need for additional wrapping.
Enter the person's name in the designated field and then have this gift delivered to their home, or receive it at yours to give it in person. In any case, we recommend providing your email and phone number to ensure the discretion of our communications.
However, if you do not wish to choose the model for them, opt for the gift voucher that you can find here. They can be used on all collections and are valid for 1 year.
AN ORIGINAL GIFT, WHICH HAS MEANING.
A gift that speaks to those who love to read. The bookplate will follow them with every new read, for a lifetime.
A design chosen according to their tastes, passions, and personality. A personalization that is far from whimsical, as it indicates that this book belongs to them.
A gift born from artistic and artisanal craftsmanship, sustainable and produced in small batches.
It is a forgotten tradition, born several centuries ago. Morgane Rospars, an independent artist, draws inspiration from it and brings it to life with a modern touch. Her bookplates are handcrafted in France and produced in very small quantities. They are discreet works of art that will leave your mark on your books for future generations.
The stamp is by definition imperfect, and that is where all its beauty lies. Solid areas are never perfectly smooth: they vary depending on the inking and the paper. Why make bookplates in the form of stamps? Because they are durable and can accompany you throughout your entire life.
There is something childlike about using a rubber stamp. Each impression brings a sense of surprise and satisfaction. A simple and pleasant gesture, which also finds joy in appropriation and repetition.
It is a ritual before or after reading, which, however small it may be, becomes a moment for yourself, without screens or urgency.
It is an ancient, forgotten tradition that allows you to mark your books with your name.
Anyone can have a bookplate. Use just one for all your books, or several depending on your mood or the type of work: it can be stamped just as well on a Pléiade edition as on a paperback or a comic book.
Yes! Choose the model that resembles the person, then indicate the name to be inscribed. If you prefer that they choose for themselves, offer them a gift voucher.
Morgane chooses the color of the ink pad included with each bookplate based on her inspiration. We can, however, exchange it for another color upon request.
Gently clean the surface with water and a little soap, then let it dry. Avoid soaking the wooden frame.
