About: Who are you, Morgane Rospars?

As a child, I wanted to "be a mermaid when I grew up." I had a postcard of one of these creatures in my room; its tail was embroidered with iridescent threads, and all that beauty drove me crazy. My choice was made, and my professional future was all mapped out. When I realized the dreadful truth, I turned to art, creation, and drawing. Let's be honest, my schooling was quite chaotic. But a miracle happened and opened the doors to the Applied Arts baccalaureate. This was 3 years of training in various disciplines, techniques, and Art History. I then extended my studies with 2 years of post-baccalaureate studies dedicated to graphic design. Then the terrifying doors of the working world opened, into which I entered, not without difficulty. I became a salaried graphic designer in the fashion industry for 10 years, then closed that chapter, and now I am self-employed and free as the wind. Fortunately, there's more to life than just a curriculum. I could tell you a little more about who I am, but since it's not easy to talk about oneself, the Proust questionnaire seems like a good way to introduce myself further:

My favorite virtue.
Courage (or being a mermaid).

The quality I prefer in others.
Humor in all circumstances (even the worst).

What I appreciate most about my friends.
May they be funny.

My main flaw.
Narrow-minded...

My favorite pastime.
Singing to attract ships.

My dream of happiness.
A house right by the sea. But really, right on the edge of the water.

What would be my greatest misfortune?
To become an employee again.

What I would like to be.
Mick Jagger.

The country where I would like to live.
A country where people stop saying "as of today".

My favorite color.
Black! Or navy blue? Arf... burgundy?

The flower that I love.
Peony or Ranunculus.

The bird I prefer.
The heron.

My favorite prose authors.
Romain Gary

My heroes in fiction.
Georges in Quentin Dupieux's The Deer.
Or Joseph Cooper in Interstellar.

My favorite painters.
Vallotton, Léger, Kandinsky, Malevich, Ingres, Cueco, the Delaunays

My hero in the story.
Jean-Pierre Melville.

What I hate more than anything.
Feeling tired during the day.

The military event I admire the most.
When I was little, I was afraid of going to the military (almost as much as I was afraid of the ball pit, in which I thought there was no bottom…)

The gift of nature that I would like to have.
Traveling in space.

How I wish I could die.
Never.

My current state of mind.
I doubt it.

My favorite motto.
When you don't have a head, you have legs.
(what Grandma always told me)

There you have it, you know everything.
Best regards,
Mr.

I have quite a menagerie, starting with 2 children, a "castle dog," and a cat who doesn't actually have a lazy eye (except for the photo).
